All student visa Applicants must have the legal evidence of their financial capacity that shows they are eligible to pay their course fees and living costs of their dependent family members.

Any family members can be added to the key visa applicant application to make a combined request for the student visa. They can fly at the same time or later time.  Once again you need to have additional and enough funds to support the accompanying family members living in Australia. This can be the spouse or any dependent(s) child/children).

You need to undergo local health examinations as a part of the visa application process. This may take weeks to complete. The visa-issuing authority (Local High Commission office) will ask you a few questions on your personal character check.

Overseas Students Health Cover (OSHC) for you is a mandatory requirement before you apply for your Visa. So it is always difficult for someone living far away and has no ideas about this insurance system.
